Considerations

If your goal is emergency power for critical systems such as lights, refrigerators, freezers and sump pumps, hot water heater, kitchen appliances and central AC/heat system, you can consider generators in the 14KW to 20KW range.  These generators will provide enough power to sustain critical systems, but you may not be able to run everything concurrently.  To properly size your generator, we will need to complete a load analysis of the systems you expect to run off the generator.  The link below provides additional information about the 14KW and 20KW systems.
